Craig and his team completed our commercial renovation and earthquake strengthening project for the Seatoun Medical building. In addition Craig has completed residential repair and renovation work for us. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Craig as a builder. His attributes include: reliability, excellent communication and responsiveness, honest pricing, punctuality and a thinking approach to unforeseen building issues and problem solving. Craig takes pride in his work and likes to do things once and properly. He and his team were always polite and considerate regarding noise and neighbours. He is also the tidiest builder or tradesman I have met, cleaning up at the end of each day. Craig demonstrated an excellent relationship with our architect and used a very good team of subcontractors across various trades. We have greatly appreciated Craig’s skills, work ethic and attitude.
When my wall blew down in a huge Wellington storm I got Bright Build on the job as they came highly recommended by my next door neighbour. They arrived promptly and rebuilt the fence. They did such a good job I got them to replace my front fence which looks great. I was very satisfied with the job and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

We have always been really happy not only with the work that Craig has done for us in the past (on our first Bungalow) but also his communication style with this clients. We never feel like we are asking a stupid question and he always takes the time to fully explain things to us. When we want small jobs done he is happy to break up the work, as and when we can afford it, we also appreciate all the additional advice he gives us regarding our renovations. We do a lot of the work ourselves on our property (like most Kiwis) but we always contact Craig for the stuff we can’t manage. He knows we have no trouble with demo and certain other tasks so will suggest we do these ourselves to keep costs down (now that’s a nice builder!) and then he will come in and do the rest. When we were looking to purchase our second property he was more than happy to provide us with an initial assessment of the work involved to make it habitable. His attention to detail on the job is excellent but more importantly for us, he is an exceptionally methodical tidy builder. I am a neat freak and find that I am always cleaning up after many of the other trades we have used as part of our renovations, as a result I tend to hover while they work. I am happy to hand over the keys of my half renovated house to Craig and leave things in his hands for the day.
Bright Build recently completed a large concrete and wood boundary fence for us; a project that was done on time, within budget and to the highest quality. Craig and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with and we are very happy with the final result. We would recommend Bright Build to anyone requiring a builder and will be working on another project with the company shortly.
